When the pressure got applied on the knees or the elbows during
some sort of works leads to the formation of dark and dead skin. Black
knees and elbows may re resulted due to the bending with the knees for
prayer, placing hands on the table basing on the elbows and some other
causes. This darkness effects any person regardless of the person’s skin
color.
Being in the sun rays for long hours and not treating by
exfoliating will adds up the existing blackness. Blackness can be
avoided with the help of simple exfoliating and bleaching methods. Here
are some of them, have a look and practice to wear shorts and low sleeve

Method 1
Ingredients
- Baking soda
- Milk
Baking soda works tremendous in treating the black skin and removing dead skin.
Process
Take
one table spoon of baking soda and mix it with enough milk. Apply the
paste over the elbows and knees area and scrub it gently in the circular
motion. Follow this method for every next two days until you seek
changes.
Method 2
Ingredients
- Turmeric powder
- Milk
- Honey
The
antiseptic properties of turmeric and milk acts as bleaching agents.
Where as honey do its natural moisturizing action and it also has the
antiseptic properties.
Process
Mix
one table spoon of turmeric with one table spoon of honey and milk. Mix
them to get a smooth paste. Apply the paste for at least 20 minutes.
After that time, rub it for two to three minutes by wetting and then
rinse off with the water.

Ingredients
- Sugar
- Olive oil
The
exfoliating nature of the sugar will removes the dead skin present over
the areas of elbows and knees. Olive oil tends to give its moisturizer
to the skin.
Process
Get the
sugar and olive in equal amounts and form it in to a thick paste. Apply
the paste to knees and elbows area. Rub with the paste for about five
to seven minutes and wash with the help of water and mild soap.
Method 4
Ingredients
- Lemon
- Honey
Lemon
is super house of natural bleaching properties and honey is known to be
good moisturizer. These two ingredients have the capacity in preventing
the skin darkness.
Process
Take
one table spoon of lemon juice and one table spoon of honey. MIx them
and apply it on the dark skin areas and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse
off with plain water and check the results. Repeat the process for
thrice a week to quench the light skin texture.
Method 5
Ingredients
- Gram flour
- Lemon extract
The
mixture prepared from gram flour and lemon can treat your dark knees
and elbows in a good manner as the ingredient gram flour is having the
cleansing agents and lemon is having the bleaching agents.
Process
Take
two tablespoons of gram flour in a bowl and mix it with few drops of
lemon. Apply this mixture and rub in the circular motion for five to
ten minutes. Let it dry and rinse off with to get the light color skin
texture.
