The following home remedies works good for the people who are suffering from back pain due to tight, paining muscles or a strain. However, the person who is suffering with pain, weakness, numbness in the legs, improper bladder control, need to consult the doctor without delay.

Get some rest
Due to the strain in the back, sometimes it leads to the back pain. So, in such cases take the sufficient amount of bed rest to relieve pain. Lie towards your side, with flexed knees and a pillow between them.
Ice pack
Keeping the ice bag in the place of inflamed tissue, which is causing the pain will provides ease from the pain and discomfort. It also decreases the ability of nerves to send pain signals to brain. Get few ice cubes and keep it in a plastic bag, and then apply the ice bag over the skin which is covered with towel. Leave the ice pack for 20 to 25 minutes and take away for 30 and again keep the ice pack. Follow this procedure with in the 24 hours of the injury.
Take a hot bath
If the injury had takes place before 24 hours, then the ice pack won’t work in reducing the pain. But heat helps in increasing the muscle elasticity. Try to take a hot bath or soak yourself for 20 minutes in the hot water tub. It is not suggested for the pregnant women because increase in the body temperature beyond 100 degrees fahrenheit may results for the miscarriage or even birth defects. Pregnant ladies need to consult their doctor before going to soak in hot water.
 Pain relievers
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil and acetaminophen (Tylenol) stop the chemical route path in the body which is generating pain. These are recommended for only to get relieve from symptoms.
Consume nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs along with food, as they results for nausea. And limit the dose of acetaminophen tablets to 8 in a day because in rare cases, more can cause liver problems.
 Low impact exercises
Doing activities such as walking, swimming, biking and some other kind of exercises will ditches away the muscle related problems in the body. Exercise also gives feel good endorphins, a simple condition that help’s reduce the pain.
To stay in the line of fitness, do the low impact exercises for 30 minutes for thrice a week.
Changing the bed mattress which gives comfort to you and rubbing the area are also good options to follow.

Though you have tried more number of home remedies but still triggered with the back pain, it’s the time to take professional treatment. Their treatment will relieve you from the inflamed muscles pain which doesn’t happened by home remedies.

Physical therapists according to the process stretch and strengthen the muscles that makes the spine to hold in the exact place. Chiropractors manipulate the spine to relieve areas of tension on the muscles.
